HR Manager Needed in Hartford

Dear NEAG,

One of our client companies, an insurance services organization, has asked us to help them find a new HR Manager with a strong generalist background to provide HR leadership to its 5 US locations totaling 80 employees. The position is located in Hartford (which houses about 35 employees) but will report into the US COO in NYC. Relevant experience will include providing multi-site and remote HR support, experience supporting M&A (and the flow of people both out of and into the organization) and experience in financial services (especially non-life insurance and/or reinsurance). This would be a great opportunity for someone interested in a smaller, more entrepreneurial environment where the impact of their work can easily be seen. It would also offer a variety of HR work. Specific requirements include:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a business related field
7+ years of experience as an HR generalist/manager within a multi-national company and experience in the non-life insurance industry
Some previous experience with payroll and benefits helpful but not required
Knowledge of ADP Total Source would be a nice to have
