Searching for a Marketing/Public Relations/Content Management/Communications Position

Dear NEAG,

I am a seasoned editor, marketing and business associate with a diverse skill set in publishing, public relations, newspapers, communications, photography, special events, product analysis, content management, project management, working one-on-one with senior management and traveling to destinations for writing assignments, conferences and tradeshows.

As a magazine editor and journalist, I am an expert in producing six different versions of the award-winning JOURNEYS (representing more than 1.5 million AAA members). I set the graphic design direction for our print and digital production teams to ensure the magazines reflect current trends in the industry. I possess impeccable grammatical skills and solely edit all copy in the magazines. Keeping within a budget is important too. I oversee and manage JOURNEYS’ $3 million budget. I have strong project management skills and get the job done.

I also serve as the sole marketing consultant of AAA’s Financial Services Department. In this position, I am involved in SEO, Google analytics, product evaluation and social media. Marketing financial services requires a strong knowledge of our various financial services products and our AAA customers. I provide ideas and solutions to promote our AAA Financial Services products which include Deposit programs through Discover Bank, the AAA Member Rewards Visa Credit Card through Bank of America, car loans, vehicle warranties and more. 

Prior to joining AAA, I was a journalist, adjunct college instructor, editor, managing editor and executive editor. I am very creative, well-rounded, a strong communicator and enjoy working in a team environment. I have been a member of AAA’s leadership team in our office which often requires meeting with potential companies to establish partnerships, recommending ideas for the betterment of the company and planning events/activities for employees. 

I am currently taking classes in social media, promoting your business through digital formats, Google Analytics, SEO, PhotoShop, InDesign, HTML and CSS to increase my skills in those areas. I have high energy, and I am very outgoing, organized and creative.
