IT Manager Needed – NY Region

My client, PediFix, Inc. (Brewster, New York) is seeking a very entrepreneurial IT leader to manage their IT initiatives and implementations.
The Company

Their high-performance solutions have helped millions of people ease pain, prevent future problems, and wear shoes more comfortably and attractively.
The Position
This is a long-term position with a very stable company. The person who will be successful in this position will:

He/she will be responsible for all aspects of IT for my client’s small, but rapidly growing manufacturing and distribution business. This is a position with considerable diversity in terms of management (projects/ procedures), support and development opportunities.
IT Management: Working with Operations staff, this person will develop and maintain procedures consistent with IT systems; explore opportunities for process improvements using new technology; select and implement system upgrades: CRM replacement and integration; migration to a replacement for Sage 500; and manage data integrity, backup and security.
IT Support: He/she will provide guidance to staff on how to best use systems for their needs – especially MRP and inventory control; provide configuration and support for all IT systems; troubleshoot problems (errors and malfunctions); and escalate to outside support when necessary.
IT Development: He/she will maintain and implement customizations to the ERP system; develop ad-hoc SQL queries for specialized reporting; and manage the development and maintenance of public-facing, web services.
Requirements
The right candidate will have software development experience and be proficient in: .NET (C#, VB) Windows Forms, T-SQL (SQL SERVER); experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment including MRP / inventory control; familiarity with ERP systems (accounting, order processing, and purchasing, etc.); and demonstrated ability to manage projects.
A plus, but not mandatory would be:
· Sage ERP experience
· EDI experience
· Familiarity with CSLA
· Familiarity with Crystal Reports
· Experience with FDA or ISO 9000 compliance
· Experience selecting and migrating ERP and CMS systems
