Portfolio Coordinator Role
Candidate Profile:
- 4 Year/Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelors)
- Approximately 5-7 years of portfolio management and/or financial analysis in an business environment
- Demonstrated ability for strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment.
- Exhibits a high degree of motivation.
- Proven people, communication, and organization skills.
- Possess strong analytics and reporting skills.
- Experience with Clarizen or similar tool.
- Experience using Microsoft office tooling such as SharePoint, Word, Visio and Excel.
- Some knowledge of project management tools, techniques, and practices is preferred but not required.
- Proven relationship management, negotiation and organization skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team, set priorities and meet deadlines on multiple projects
- Advanced analytical, problem solving, and planning skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Professional Office Suite including Microsoft Project
- Strong general business acumen preferably in the Financial Services and IT space
- Broad experiences in project and program types such as business transformation/reengineering, custom development, conversions, packaged solution implementations, infrastructure, IT transformations, etc.
- Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and/or exceeding performance expectations
- Possesses a bias for action and avoids workplace distractions
- Drives performance targets to completion
- Demonstrates expert knowledge of project management methodology, tools, techniques and practices and their practical applications toward delivering business value
- Experience managing geographically dispersed teams in a matrix organization
Execution Profile:
- Supports continual planning governance and Customer Solution Portfolio metrics & reporting along with educating, training and supporting Business and IT resources
- Monitor project submission and throughput across the enterprise
- Maintain LOB Portfolio Owner & other key Contacts List
- Help coordinate and organize improvements within Continual Planning
- Collect data as needed from Portfolio Leaders and Business Sub-Portfolio leaders
- Ensure Business Portfolio data is accurate for reporting in Clarizen
- Consult Business resources on templates utilized in continual planning
Education
- 4 Year/Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelors)
