Marketing Coordinator Needed

My client, Q-Tran (Milford, CT), a leader in LED lighting/power supplies and low voltage transformers for lighting applications, is looking to hire a Graphic Designer/Marketing Coordinator who can also support the company’s marketing activities.  This is an early career position with an opportunity for growth.  We are seeking candidates who live within commutable distance of Milford.
Role and Responsibilities
·        Design content based on management marketing strategies & set short-term goals for execution
o   Catalogs, brochures, Technical Sheets, Website Updates, Social Media, Photography, Videography, Postcards, packaging material, PowerPoint Sales Presentations, etc.
o   Collaborate with all departments to produce high quality content
·        Social Media strategies, planning & execution
o    Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn
o   Deliver engaging content on a regular basis
·        Working directly with management help to determine Email Marketing Campaign strategy; then act on the planning & execution.
o   Content development & design
o   Deliver engaging content on a regular basis
·        Design from scratch new marketing and graphical material (cut sheets, catalogs, brochures, installation instructions)
·        Edit and change existing marketing and graphical materials
If you have experience in performing competitive market analysis, that is a plus, but not mandatory.  You will be assisting in Market Research, not doing it all or defining parameters.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
The Graphic Designer/Marketing Coordinator should possess knowledge of the below programs. 
·        Adobe Illustrator
·        Adobe In-Design
·        Adobe Photoshop
·        Adobe Lightroom
·        Adobe Acrobat DC
And have worked with:
·        Microsoft Excel
·        Microsoft PowerPoint
·        Microsoft Outlook
Other programs that Q-Tran uses and the Graphic Designer/Marketing Coordinator can be trained on, if you don’t already have experience with, are:
·        Office 365, SharePoint, OneNote
·        Word Press
·        Sage CRM
·        MailChimp
·        HootSuite
Preferred Skills
·        Ability to meet deadlines is critical
·        Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
·        Attention to detail preferred
·        Design-oriented forward thinker 
·        Self-motivated
·        Goal-oriented
·        Ability to work without oversight
·        Willing to learn new programs
·        Ability to learn quickly and with hands-on approach
·        Lighting, Electrical or Architectural background is a plus
