i. Provides expertise by assisting the business in the formulation of ideas during the conceptual phase prior to the creation of a project that leads to execution. The key to success in this role is to provide value by structuring / framing ambiguous thoughts / ideas into an execution delivery plan. The leader must have the ability to see the “big picture” across long range cycles of the industry, technology and unique business models to effectively translate ideas into executable options and solutions. The leader must have the skills to vet ideas against strategic goals, financial models, execution risks, leading edge market trending technologies and key metrics to support and drive towards an execution framework. A key differentiator of this position from regular project management and delivery model is to work with the business thinking 2-5 years ahead in the technology arena and be able to present options that create sustainable competitive advantage, lead to disruptive innovation, change customer/ agent behavior in support of realizing the enterprise vision/mission.
